Chinese company to build major hydropower plants in NSW – Sky News Australia

NSW Labor Senator Deb O’Neill has expressed security concerns over a Chinese company set to build two major hydropower plants in the state’s Hunter Region. Chinese windturbine company Goldwind Australia is poised to win the tenders to construct the Glennies Creek and Glenbawn Dam projects. Ms O’Neill says she was deeply troubled by a foreign power owning critical state assets.
